THE ULTIMATE NAME IN KART TUNING SYSTEMS
Easitune engine tuning light kit Complete Kit
This system was designed to make tuning of your race engine easier
and more accurate, as it tells you the MIXTURE, not the exhaust temp.
With the advent of intake & exhaust mufflers/silencers,
earplugs, etc, the old seat of the pants
tuning is verging on the impossible for the average racer.
A simple, ultrabright LED display is used, to depict the
fuel mixture at a given point in time. The information is derived
from a lambda sensor. (A modified sensor is used for twostrokes.)
THE BASICS
The unit will NOT work with the engine idling on the stand… not enough heat.
It takes about 20 seconds of HARD DRIVING before the unit starts to work.
The lights flicker, very fast, and you only READ the lights under acceleration..
When you back of the accelerator( slowing down ) the lights mean NOTHING.
To TEST the sensor…
Remove from the exhaust…
Switch the unit on…
Heat the tip of the sensor with a heat gun..
It will go from FULL SCALE one end to the other
This shows the sensor is working .. ( THE UNIT is working )
If it doesn’t move… you have a dead CLOUGHED sensor.. or something else is wrong.
